Classes

One Yoga offers a broad range of styles and levels to best serve all yogis from Beginners to Advanced.  We have mats available for your use at no charge.  See our drop-in class schedule here.

Class Levels

Each class title is followed by a number or letter which indicates the level of experience recommended for that class.

Level 1: For students new to yoga and those desiring a low-intensity practice.

Level 2: For students with 3+ months of yoga practice and those desiring a moderate-intensity practice.

Level 3: For students with a strong yoga practice ready to explore advanced variations of postures.

Mixed Levels: Variations of poses will be given to accomodate multiple levels of experience.

Ashtanga Classes

Ashtanga is a vigorous vinyasa practice with a specific sequence of poses.  We recommend Ashtanga to students who have been practicing yoga for at least 3 months or are ambitious beginners.  We offer 3 different Ashtanga classes:

Ashtanga Primary Series (PS): a teacher-guided class at least 90 minutes long which contains the full sequence of postures in the primary series.

Ashtanga Short-Form (SF): an abbreviated version of the primary series with some of the poses and sun salutations eliminated in the interest of time.

Mysore: a self-guided Ashtanga class in which you practice at your own pace and receive individual assistance from your teacher.  The class period is 2 hours and you can arrive at any time so long as you end within the alloted time frame.
