We believe in the power of yoga to change lives, but often those who could benefit the most from a regular yoga practice lack access due to limiting circumstances. That is why we are working with nonprofits throughout the Twin Cities to bring yoga to their clients, employees, and volunteers.
Classes
One Yoga instructors travel to different locations providing weekly classes to people who would otherwise lack access to yoga’s life-changing benefits. With mats and props in tow, instructors guide students through a practice specific to their needs and abilities.
Whether for a 6-week series or ongoing classes that last year-round, we are honored to be able to serve our community through yoga.
Training
One Yoga provides specialized training for our instructors so that they can best serve populations in need. Recent trainings have included:
- Bedside Yoga for those living with life-threatening illness
- Street Yoga for youth who have experienced trauma
- Yoga for Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological disorders
How You Can Help
With specialized training for our instructors, mats and props, transportation, administrative costs, and teacher pay, each class offered in the community costs us approximately $125. While revenue from the studio helps to support our outreach work, we are dependent on individual donations to continue this important work.
Please support our mission by making a tax-deductible donation today.
