Cultivating a Home Practice
Have you wanted to start a home yoga practice? Have you been stopped by the belief “I can’t…or I don’t know how”? If so, this is the workshop for you!
It has been said that the only reason not to practice is because it is not a priority. Like any other study, time with a teacher is important. However, it is through personal, at-home practice in which the real growth occurs. When you practice at home, not only are you able to sequence for your own physical needs, you become much more attuned to the inner work in yoga--seeing and transforming the mental and emotional patterns which create suffering. In this time of COVID, utilizing our tools and resources to maintain well-being at home is of the utmost importance. In this workshop we will learn the essentials of cultivating a home practice:
Learn three specific practices: morning, energizing, and calming
Learn essential breathing and meditation practices for a holistic practice
Receive guidance on creating an in-home sanctuary for practice
Explore common impediments to home practice and how to overcome them
