Special Workshops in September


We are excited to offer several special workshops in September! All workshops will take place at the One Yoga studio, 2637 27th Ave S, Suite 207, Minneapolis, MN 55406. All workshops are priced on a sliding scale. Please select a rate that works best for you.



Little ‘Ones’ Yoga with Julia Andrighetti ∙ Saturday, September 9, 10:15-11:15am


This kids yoga workshop is a fun opportunity for your child (ages 6-10) to explore themes of yoga, honor its roots, and embrace the playfulness of being a kid. We will celebrate ‘Back to School’ and say our goodbyes to summer as we explore the element of summer: Fire (Agni).

Restorative Yoga & Acupuncture for Grief & Healing with Dallas Rising & Dr. Cassandra Rose ∙ Saturday, September 9, 2:00-4:00pm


Grief and loss impact us in a myriad of emotional, physical, and mental ways. In this workshop, Dallas Rising and Dr. Cassandra Rose combine the power of restorative yoga with traditional Chinese medicine techniques, such as acupuncture, to support those who are currently grieving and healing.

My Brothers Heal with Chance York ∙ Sunday, September 10, 1:00-2:30pm


My Brothers Heal is an intro to yoga exclusively for Black men. Though yoga is an excellent practice of self-care, stress reduction and mental health for everyone, there are very few spaces where Black men can practice among their peers. This class is a celebration of being Black, powerful, and healthy.

New Moon Sound Bath with Tamiko French ∙ Wednesday, September 13, 7:30-9:00pm


Be engulfed in an expansive environment of sound intended to realign your vibrational energy centers. During this workshop, come be open to the sounds of the gong, Tibetan singing bowls, tongue drum, sansula, chimes, buffalo drum, shakers, and handpan surrounding you for 45 minutes lying down or sitting.

Deep Breath: Restorative Practice for the Fall Equinox with Greg Hines ∙ Friday, September 22, 7:30-9:00pm


The Fall Equinox reminds us that balance means exchange, and our lungs are the engine of exchange in the human body. We’ll discuss the significance of the lungs during the Fall season, explore gentle manipulations to deepen the breath, and leverage props to experience restorative shapes that support the function of your breath.

Dancing Sound with Tamiko French & Aneka McMullen ∙ Monday, September 25, 7:30-9:00pm


Join us for this enchanting journey, where movement becomes medicine and sound becomes solace. With Aneka McMullen’s guiding wisdom and Tamiko French’s healing harmonies, you’ll embark on a voyage that bridges the realms of healing and movement, revealing the profound connection that exists within us all.
