This week for Black History Month we are spotlighting Chance York! Besides teaching Vinyasa and Hatha classes at One Yoga, Chance also teaches Integrative Health and Wellness at YMCA of the North, mindfulness and yoga classes at The Marsh in Minnetonka, and is the host of a very cool new digital series with TPT Twin Cities PBS called “Outside Chance”!
“Outside Chance” features Chance taking on a new outdoor activity in each episode as he learns about Minnesota’s outdoor spaces, cultures, and traditions. The series is meant to inspire folks to get outside and experience the world in a way they haven’t before. The series also features experts of different backgrounds, taking a closer look at how everyone can find a space to thrive outside.
