Full Moon Sound Bath w/ Tamiko French

Meet Tamiko French! She will be hosting New Moon and Full Moon Sound Baths at One Yoga!

Tamiko is a multi-disciplined creative focused on building intentional spaces for collective and personal wellbeing and expansion. She has served her communities through performance art, functional vibrational crystal work, crafting adornments and visual art, as well as her practice of sound healing. In 2020, she expanded her personal practice of sound healing to her array of

services in response to the rising need of safe calm space from the murder of George Floyd, the pandemic stressors, and the homeless displacement where many volunteers and homeless needed some form of calm. After experiencing her own healing with alternative wellness practices, including sound and meditation, she began sharing her passion for vibrational wellness with the community weekly.

About the Sound Bath:

Be engulfed in an expansive environment of sound intended to realign your vibrational energy centers. Sound healing is an ancient concept, also known as sound meditation or sound bathing. Sound healing can reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, create a deep sense of wellbeing, and promote healing that goes well beyond simple relaxation.

According to the laws of physics, everything in the universe vibrates with frequency. Human beings have their own frequencies too, known as resonances. Sound healing is based on the belief that dysregulation or disease in the body is a result of our natural resonance being out of tune or off balance, due to stress, illness, or environmental factors. Working with frequencies can bring our bodies back into healthy vibration.
