It is not unusual for people to develop a case of the "blues” and increased anxiety as the seasons change. This is particularly true for those of us who experience the deep, dark winters of Minnesota. Though this Yoga for Anxiety and Depression workshop is not designed to diagnose or treat mental illness, students will learn how yoga supports improved mental health. At its foundation, this workshop is about connection. Connect to the individual student's body/mind, the teacher, and the other students in class. We will use movement, breathwork, journaling, and discussion to this end. Please join us for a 2-hour introductory workshop for improved mental health and wellbeing. Namaste.
