A Community Gathering
in Celebration of New Beginnings The New Moon Gala is a community event for One Yoga to raise funds for program development, operating expenses and other investments that support our mission. Why a New Moon Gala? The short answer is that October 1, 2016, falls on a new moon, which symbolically represents new beginnings and provides an opportunity to set intentions for anything you wish to cultivate and make manifest. All proceeds raised from the New Moon Gala will directly contribute to providing a solid foundation for One Yoga to advance and expand its current Outreach Program. |
Evening Program
7:00 PM
The evening begins with our silent auction when the doors open at 7:00 PM. Enjoy delicious appetizers and drinks while perusing the silent auction tables. Be sure to arrive early to bid on your favorite auction items and packages!
8:00 PM
The silent auction wraps up at 8:00 p.m. when we gather to enjoy a brief presentation of the new One Yoga Outreach Program video and a few words from Kirsten Johnson-Nixon ofTeen Parent Services, one of our Outreach Partners.
8:30 PM
Get ready to boogie, sashay or twerk yourself silly to the smooth sounds of DJ Just Nine. Other activities include a wine pull, henna body art by Krystalyn and a raffle prize drawing.
10:00-10:30 PM
As you say goodbye for the evening, check to see if you had the winning bid on your silent auction item and pick up your item (or items) on the way out.

Music & Dancing: DJ Just Nine
DJ Just Nine will provide our musical entertainment. His precision with cutting and scratching the records during his live sets is reminiscent of DJ's Mixmaster Mike, Qbert, Premier, Rob Swift, Jazzy Jeff, and has lead to many placements on albums both locally and beyond.

Raffle Prize: GoPro Hero4
Buy a $10 ticket (or 3 tickets for $20) and win a GoPro Hero4 (valued at $350)! You must be present to claim the raffle prize. The prize winner will be determined at 9:00 PM by a heads or tails raffle game.
