My name is Justyn. Before I found a yoga practice, I struggled with an eating disorder for over a decade.  During my road to recovery in 2009 I started attending yoga classes a couple times a week. It was the practice of yoga that opened in me a new way I could have a relationship with my body. It was the beginning foundations of a re-connection of the sacred vessel I mistakenly thought I was at war with.

As my practice grew, I was in awe of my body's capabilities. Learning that I was strong enough to do things like stand on my hands gave me a deeper appreciation for how strong I truly was, and how my body needed to be fed to practice in this way.

At a certain point something shifted in me and I developed a deep and profound connection with my inner being and divine spirit. It was then I took the leap into teacher training. I received my 200hr vinyasa certification in 2010, while studying in Koh Samui Thailand.  I practice devotionally now for that connection, and I am grateful everyday for having the time and the means to do so.

I'm very passionate about the healing benefits of yoga and meditation, and the empowering practice of inversions. This comes through strongly in my teaching. Yoga has brought so much joy and healing into my life, I've made it my mission to share it with others, and help people re-connect with their bodies.
