Our Mission
One Yoga's mission alleviates suffering and creates well-being for people who don’t have access to or cannot afford the healing, transformative powers of yoga.
We live this:

In the Community
Karma Tribe partners with dozens of organizations, businesses, and communities, calling on the "tribe" of over 60 certified yoga instructors who have signed on to offer free yoga to people who simply cannot pay for it, but whose lives will be helped by the practice.
Karma Tribe matches certified yoga teachers with people experiencing trauma, illness, abuse, addiction, and spiritual crises.

In the Studio
One Yoga was founded in the year 2000, and has become a cornerstone yoga studio in the Twin Cities. We have 1,536 students, and at present, fifteen teachers lead sixty-four classes per week. One Yoga is a 501(c)3 nonprofit yoga organization that offers accessible health and well-being through the practice of yoga, specifically inclusive of those who traditionally lack access. Our studio supports this mission by offering high-quality yoga classes on a sliding fee basis. Revenue from the studio also helps support our mission in the community. If you are experiencing financial hardship or are finding it difficult to pay for classes, please fill out a sliding fee application. Applications can be picked up in the studio or accessed here.  Approval is based on household size and income. View our income guidelines here.

Our work in the community is made possible by the generosity of our donors. If you’d like to help us with our mission by making a financial contribution, please click here.
